Fellow Bereans,
Thank you for your patience with me this year! Between the Federal Government policy changes, my wife’s retinal detachment surgery, and my daughter going in and out of sickness, it’s been a real challenge to continue reviewing. I have a backlog of user-submitted reviews to process and post. They are taking longer than anticipated! I stayed up late on Saturday night just to rush my review of “Gateway Worship (Feat. Claire Smith) – Who Else” which contained some glaring mistakes upon posting. I don’t want to do that again.
Until things settle with my job, my wife, and my daughter, I’m making the difficult decision to postpone Berean Test reviews. I’m currently finishing up a review that my mom submitted and plan to post it next Sunday in place of “Mike Saatchi – Amen”.
I’m unsure when I will start reviewing again. However, I hope to start up again sometime in Mid to late June with some user-submitted reviews. Maybe I can restart sooner. I don’t have a crystal ball. However, I cannot continue at this time.
Many of you asked me about my job situation. So, I’ll use this opportunity to answer everyone. I met my new manager last Friday. She seems like a genuinely nice person, who is family-oriented, flexible, and reasonable. The tasks she will have me work on should align with my web developer skillet. I haven’t been given a start date yet, but it’s coming “soon”.
I am anticipating questions about my wife’s retinal detachment, so allow me to elaborate on that as well. She’s recovering nicely. We’re hoping she can drive again within the next month or so, which will take a huge burden off my shoulders. For now, we’re still dealing with her eye-aches, eye drops, and appointments galore.

I had intended on it, but circumstances at home are becoming increasingly difficult, which is making it more and more impossible to continue running this site.

So sorry to hear about your wife’s retinal detachment! Praise God she was able to get surgery, though! My husband (38 at the time of surgery) just had it a few months ago, and recovery was a bit difficult, but we are thankful that he can still have use of that eye!
I have enjoyed reading many of your reviews and the comments as well- they have helped me think more critically about the music we sing at church, and prompted more questions, as well. Thank you! I hope you have a restful time away !
