August 2023 Polls – Vote for Future Reviews

Thank you for voting on my second July 2023 polls!

In poll A, Phil Wickham’s The Jesus Way was the way to go, while Elevation Worship’s Praise was noteworthy.

In poll B, Phil Wickham’s How Great is Your Love was greatly adored, while Chris Tomlin’s The Wonderful Cross filled others with awe and wonder.

This post contains two regular polls with eight songs apiece.  Vote for up to three songs per poll.  I will review the top two voted songs on each poll.  Ties will be broken based on earliest submission.

These polls will close at the end of July 15th, 2023 (EDT). If you don’t like these picks, consider submitting a song for review.

Thank you for voting on my poll on polling!  The overwhelming majority was in favor of dual bi-weekly polling or didn’t care at all.  From now on, I’ll run two polls bi-weekly instead of one poll a week.  I plan to continue delaying polling about once a month to fit Extra Songs into the mix.  This change will help me with scheduling and taking more frequent breaks from doing reviews to prevent burnout.

Finally, I am expanding the cap on the polling queue from 24 to 32 songs.  Since I’ll be running double-polls, wait time will not increase for an additional 8 songs added to the queue.  Thus, there will be 16 songs in polling, 16 on deck, and ~16 waiting in the queue at maximum load (some additional songs might come through while the door is open).
